#154128 well probaly youd want the crv with the b series in it not the one that closely resembles the izuzu rodeo....and you will want a 5spd unless yours is auto then idk if you could do that.....but yea im not sure of the year but its gonna be a heck of alot of work....

#154144 The main reason I bought the hatch was its crazy curb weight of 2,000 lbs. adding another axle and transfer case will require more torque out of your 1.8 liter motor to move it. that is why CRVs have the 2.0 in em. Even if you swap the B20 block in, the extra traction will not make up for the increased weight. In my opinion, stay with the lightest set up you can unless you plan on rallying your civic on dirt tracks.

#154150 i must agree while awd civics are cool, they are pretty impractical unless you have allot of money to through at it, a boosted b powered awd hatch would be sweet, but would be pretty sluggish if you wernt in the 250-350 whp range and over 200 ftlbs of wheel torque other wise your motor will suffer badly from the extra weight. but by all means if you have the parts, tools, know how, and money. please do this swap and post all of the pictures up on the site so we can all see the process, Ive had 2 boosted awd cars and i loved them both, so get on it and lets see some progress!!

#154159 Its doable. However will take a lot of fabrication to do.

To see how much work it is google search for the awd delsol.

#154224 at 700HP you will be going through alot of Transmissions.

I am pretty sure the stock AWD parts out of a CRV will handle that amount of power. If you do make that much power. You WILL be replacing drive terrain parts often.
