#149738 so basically a B16a short block with CTR pistons and GSR head?

if so the piston will be out of the bore by .007"

It will give you a compression of 12.51:1 as well.

IMO dont get those pistons. They are not all that great. You are better off with stock JDM or USDM pistons.

Grab some JDM P30s, 2 layer HG(spoon, Toda, Mugen, Buddy Club) with the flat faced valves and call it a day.

Should work out to about 11.5:1 while still being a stock motor.

#149910 P30s come out of a japanese B16a.

stock valves are fine. springs and retainers are good to have. sounds like he needs to get some cams for that head.
