#139185 Hahaha Monster Catch Can ftw! :thumb:

And those are def. strange dyno results, any idea what's causing the flatline and dropoff? Just don't take her past 6300 :D

well the rev cut is set at 6800 and only hit it once so i'm okay with that (for now) :hehe:

the catch can is pretty sweet, i gotta work on a few things tho...the suspension is rubbing more now than usual around corners, the right side only :?

i'm going to get this i think: aluminum dual core radiator to help with the underhood temps, different weight oil as well:

my oil temp on the freeway is too hot:

#139915 well i ordered that radiator and should be here in about a week or so, i just logged 220 miles on a tank of gas, filled up with 7.641 gallons so i get about 28-29 miles/gallon on mostly freeway driving with a few heavy pulls 8)

around the city it's worse but better than my old 460 got! 7mpg...

#140077 hell ya :thumb: good gas mileage ftw..nice shiny radiator too

#140434 Nice build, dude-man.

What's the trim on the turbo, again? I'm too lazy to go back 11 pages...

And btw, that's the most perfect hp/tq curve ever. Anything you can do to up the low end RPMs?

Water/Methanol injection would help you reach your 250-300hp goal after extensive tuning, new clutch (like you said), and higher flow injectors. Only problem with water/meth is the extra time it takes to tune the boost actuated valves.

Nice catch can, too. I just made one for my 'Teg the other day.

although im not completely sure, i believe its a 50 trim... i was thinking that the dyno graph looked peculiar, but the power feels good when driving the car, i definitely need more!

i don't know what i can do about that, it's a big turbo and spools around 4.5k RPM's so it's pretty much all motor until then, i did what i could with the choice of the rods/pistons, i don't think i wanna get into that water/meth injection stuff, i had nitrous once and didn't like the filling/worrying about bottle level....

thanks for the catch can :thumb: i got a new clutch ordered (should be here soon) and i pissed about the injectors, if i would have known.......

#140840 If you feel like down grading to a smaller turbo for speedy spooling, try to find a DSM 16g turbine and compressor. They flow enough for 300hp on the B18s, so I would imagine they would flow an ample amount of air for your D.

I would bet that your injectors are what's making the graph perfectly flat. Higher flow injectors, ftw!

What clutch are you looking at?

#140849 i'm getting this guy: should be more than adequate along with giving my left leg a meaty ass workout, before i re-tune i'm definitely going to go with some 780cc or similar flow and call it good, i thought 450 was fine....

big clutch, new turbo, bigger injectors....watch out 300hp here i come 8) :woot:

LSD Dragger - 385ft/lbs

#140860 I just did a quick calculation on the RC Engineering website, and it says 595cc/min is the necessary fuel flow rate. So 650-700cc/min would be plenty.

I've not heard of LSD Dragger clutches. Hello, InterZweb.

#140954 hell yeah man! only about 20 psi, maybe a better IM...but stock head, cam, ignition and fuel rail :thumb:

with the clutch, these injectors, and maybe a new turbo (just for the oil seals) i think it'll be easy.... 325-350 is the limit of pump gas-ish

Image

i do need to go to a different tuner and get a wideband!
