#136757 I have an aftermarket Fuel pressure gauge installed on my fuel filter and have noticed the fuel pressure seems to randomly drop to zero the second I turn off the car, or randomly stay at 40psi all night and all day, but consistantly 40 or nothing. Is this normal or is somthing starting to go bad. I do have problems starting the car somtimes if I try to start it between one or two hours since its been shut off. Anyone have any Ideas as to why?

#136759 Does the fuel pump prime when it gives you trouble starting, after the cars been sitting?

#136762 I think so I've never taken the time to pop the hood and verify yet. It seems to allways start the second time so maybe it takes two cycles to get enough pressure. I'm going to check next time.

#136763 Fuel pump is under the back seat. Listen for it to hum when you turn your key 1 click forward.
