I went to see the car and the body was total crap. She said it was a clean title and had no accidents but clearly it had been damaged on three sides and repaired very poorly. At least 3 shades of red. Half the spoiler was broken off. Also, it had a short shifter and I wont touch that.

I'm thinking about buying an RS shell and a junkyard GSR swap. It just depends on whether I can fit it into my budget.

i know you were looking for something nice and clean to just keep smi stock but serriously i think you would have way more fun piecing something together...
get a streight shell, get it painted, go from there?

you sold the civic already so im assuming you have something to drive for now right?

- Tue Jun 16, 2009 1:03 am #123295 Well I was disappointed but I didn't freak out about the drive. That's just a risk you take. Besides, I was curious to see what Boise was like. It's crap.

I have a completely stock 92 LS hatchback to drive around in until I get a DC. Then I'm going to sell it.

There's a red 97 RS hatchback shell for sale nearby but it doesn't make sense to get it unless I get a GSR engine. There's a junkyard that has a GSR swap for $2200. That's really stretching my budget though. I wouldn't have any money left over for the alarm.

I'm really surprised that there are very few 96+ LS hatchbacks for sale. I check auto trader and crazed list daily for every state within 1000 miles of here.
