Welcome! I am pretty sure your guys VTi has the B16 in it.
If you wanna do a h22a Swap, It will be good for a Drag Racing car, The way the mount sit in an EG to get the engine to fit under the hood the Engine sits farther in front of the shock towers then a D or B Series Engine. Thus making your handling worse.
If you want to do Drag Racing go for it. If you wanna do Circuit/Auto Cross/Road Racing, Then Build up your B16 in your car now. Cams/pistons, etc or Turbo it. You could also swap in Bigger B Series, Be it a GSR(b18c1 USDM) or Build a Frankenstein, Put in a LS(B18A/B1) or a CRV(B20b/z) Bottom end to get more displacement, Thus more Torque, Thus more Power. However unless Built properally they cant rev as high as a B16.
I Personally do Circuit Style Racing and have a B16a2(USDM 99-00Civic Si) in my Hatch. When I did Drag Racing I was going to go with a J32 v6 Swap, However my Drag days are now long gone. Once you do Track Racing drag is just boring.
