- Tue May 19, 2009 5:23 pm #117761 so i have aftermarket foglights with two pigtails (+,-) and wanted to hook it up so my fogs come on only when i have my high beams on. just wondering how i could go about hooking that up, is there a wire in the headlight harness i could tap into? and could i just ground the (-) any advice would be appreciated thanks

- Wed May 20, 2009 4:05 am #117835 alright so i figured this much, i can plug the (+) into high beams fuse. but can i just ground the lights to metal, or do i ground it to something else?

- Wed May 20, 2009 4:31 am #117837 yeah, just ground it to the metal. make sure its clean (sand the frame down untill you see the bare metal).

- Thu May 21, 2009 10:16 pm #118147 alright so i did this, and when grounging to metal my fogs come on all the time. does anyone know how i can hook it up so they just come on with the high beams?

- Fri May 22, 2009 12:48 am #118173 connect the poitive to the highbeam wire only. cant tell you which on it is off the top of my head. but you can determin this by using a test light and finding out wire turns 12v when the highbeams are turned on.
