The F22B SOHC Vtec is okay, but it can easily take the H22A's DOHC VTEC head. You would have a much better Engine for Boost as the F22B has Stronger Sleeves then the H22's. The F20B your looking at looks to be a Destroked H22.
If your going to go with a B Series Engine, they have smaller valves as the engines are overall smaller. They have a better aftermarket, and are easier to swap in then the H/F Series. However Going with an F20B or H22 Swap makes since if your going to be doing Drag. Big Powerful engine upfront.
However the down side to them is how there mounted. The mounts to get them to fit in an EG has them lean infront of the shock towers quite a bit. Thus throwing your handling off. You can gain some of that back with bigger anti-sway bars however A H/F Swaped EG isn't the best for AutoCross/Circuit Events. The H/F is also heaver then the B. However not by much.
