- Mon Mar 23, 2009 3:32 am #105098 First I want to appoligize if I put this in the wrong place but didn't know if to put it here or interior section.

So here's the problem.
As some of you guys may know I installed an eg6 sterring wheel on my coupe.
Its an eg6 steering wheel without airbag.
My coupe came with airbag in the stock steering which am pretty sure you'll all know 5 gen come with stock airbag.

Well to make the long story short now that you have the jdm sterring wheel my horn doesn't work. I want my horn back! Am guessing the horn system for the jdm and usdm is different.

So this is the status.
I removed all the srs system off my steering colum because the eg6 steering wheel wouldn't fit with it.
And of coarse the steering wheel is gutted because is the airbagless steering wheel.

Has some one ever came across this problem and know how to fix it or if anyone know any idea on how I can get this resolved. Is there a way I an rewire it? Or is there something I can add to make it work.
And by the way I do not want to put a ghetto ass separate switch or bottom for my horn either lol. I want to have it working with my steering wheel.

Am pretty sure that's exacly what I needed.
Its funny cus I have a hondatech account but since they changed the layout I hardly get on.

I will take a look at this write up once I get home.
It was killing me not being able to honk at people when they doing stupid shit.

When and got me the part off the junkyard and used the write up to install it and wire it and I have a perfectly good working horn now.
