#103261 Um I barely learned how to drive stick shift a lil bit ago. Sometimes when i shift, like the engine makes a sound like its forcing itself to shift. At what RPM should I shift so it does it smoothly? I do it like at 3k-4k. Thanks!

#103265 Ok sometimes when I shift , the engine makes a sound like as if I'm not shifting at the right time. and it doesn't shift smoothly. I shift up at like 3k -4k rpm. Is that more clear? Sorry if not.

#103268 Yeah exactly. Am I shifting wrong or what? Shifting too late? Too early? It doesn't happen all the time though.

#103270 na your letin out the clutch to fast . i used to do the same thing cuz I went from drivin a ef cable clutch to a eg hydraulic clutch. on the cable on you can let it out fast but you cant on the hydraulic ones cuz its way more sensitive. so just practice letin off the pedal easyer :thumb:

#103283 Sure thing. When stopped. Pull the E-brake. Then you wont have to worry about going from your brake to gas and rolling.

1.) full stop. right foot is on brake.
2.) pull E-brake. Move right foot from brake to gas.
3.) when the light changes let the clutch out, give it gas , and release the e-brake.

This is actually the same thing drag racers do. :thumb:
