#328812 I've heard with the fiberglass type, you're supposed to get it wet and you can supposedly get it on tighter.. I read that after I installed mine dry  I just wrapped it as tight as I could and put on some hose clamps. It seems to be holding good, I might double up the top clamp with a t-bolt

#328816 yeah you are supposed to get it wet first. it makes it a bit more flexible. soak it in a bucket of water then wrap it as tight as you can get it and clamp it into place with either the sheet metal clamps or some hose clamps. i think some rolls of wrap actually come with special wire ties that look half decent.

then when you have to all wrapped up, fire it up and let it get hot so the wrap dries and kinda forms around the pipes.

remeber it will smoke and smell pretty bad for quite some time.

and it really does help to wear some latex gloves or maybe even those up to the elbow dish washers gloves and an old hoody so the fiberglass doesnt get all over you

#328896 use a stainless steel clamp. i thnk its called a worm clamp.

you need to clamp it atleast 4 times for header if you want it to look individual.

needs a clamp every time you start and finsh the wrap to hold it on.
