When converting from auto to manual, you either have to cut & re-weld the passenger side mounting bracket a couple of inches over, OR you can buy an Auto to Manual conversion mount which is shaped so that it uses the auto bracket in it's stock location.
I found a deal on a used one but I'm not sure on something...
There are 3 holes on the new mount vs 2 holes on the stock one.
When I put it on, the rear bolt is short, only a couple threads go through the surface of the mount. The front bolt is ok though. And the third hole has no bolt there. I've never seen a tranny with 3 bolts for the mount, but there IS a threaded hole in the tranny for a bolt to go into it.
Is there a special bolt I should buy to put in the extra hole? And On the rear hole, is there a longer bolt that I should use? Not sure if this is a dealership only item or if a Home Depot bolt will do (if they even have them in that size)
