- Fri Sep 19, 2008 1:27 pm #70518 we started our next build for one of our buddys. Base chassis is an EK3, full rebuild, respray etc etc etc....

although it is not an EG i thought you guys and girls might like to follow this project also, like you did with my build.

Engine will be k20a2, same as my car.

We started the chassis work after we allready stripped the car and the FIA approved rollcage was welded in. Removed all unneeded parts etc.

continued with removeing all brackets:



took out one bracket wich was damaged, new oem honda part will go in here:



prepped the roof for removing it, this is a sunroof and we will install oem new roof without sunroof:



gotta try lol:





jacked it up and removed suspension:







and started removing the roof, that was freakin easy, thank god for the cage, gives body enought strenght to safely remove the roof:

prepped the ends for fitting new oem 99-00 facelift front:

welded all holes in the rear and engine bay:













washed the car, i think the expire date was due on this meguairs wax lol:

testfitted the front fenders, nest step is test fit the hood, front bumper and headlights.

and alu fuel tank is one its way, when that has arrived we will weld in battery casing and the fueltank casing. and again primer, filler, sanding etc....
