Nice Rims, Dont see the sakuras often. Cant wait to see them on your Si.

Did you choose what Tire you will be going with?

#239141 That's the thing idk what to go with due to it being a 8inch wide wheel... and I know the regular size for a 15 inch rim is 195-55-15...

What do u guys suggest???

#239164 depends on how much stretch you want. a 205/50R15 will give you some stretch but not too much. a 225 width tire will have a square sidewall on an 8" wide rim, but that will likely rub and that's too wide of a tire for your average daily driven civic anyways. I doubt you wanna roll & pull the hell put of your brand new quarter panel 8)

215's are also an option but the tire choices are not that great for 215 width tires. Check out Grat's thread. He had Axis 15x8 +25 wth 205/50R15 on his coupe and see how good his tires looked :thumb:

cliff notes: 205/50R15 FTW

I was thinking more like 195-45-15... but idk how that's gonna look... 205-50-15 looks ok but its too meaty imo...

#239541 i have 205-50-15 on my 15x7 wheels, i love em... nice ride :thumb:

but they aren't AS low profile as my old 40 series tires. 225 will rub like crazy everywhere and that gets annoying... good luck sir!

remember the 205/50's were on Grat's EJ. EK's have slightly more wheel well to fill then 92-95 civics. Every generation of civic has been equipped with a larger overall wheel/tire size than the previous generation.

92-95 had 185/60R14
96-00 had 185/65R14

So 205/50's will look a tiny bit smaller in the wheelwell of an EK. Of course, ride height makes the main difference. Is this going to be stanced out, or just moderately lowered?

I might get some spacers and a rear camber kit for the rear but if the car looks good with out it then ill just rock it like that...

Don't get me wrong... I love the camberd low life style that's been the craze for a while but I also like to autocross...

I guess ill do something that's good for both worlds...
