finished her up tonight. had a few little problems. went out for a little run and i blew one of the pipes off that ran from the intake mani to the fmic so put it back on and went out and it was only boosting 3psi but it was going mean as shit and then blew another pipe off from the turbo to the intercooler. took it home(i just went for a little joy ride in my neighborhood) found out that the coupler i used was one of my friends old ones that he had used and had a hole burned in it so thats where my boost leak is coming from. as for the pipes blowing off i have some t-bolt clamps on the way to solve that problem. have some very small oil leaks from a few fittings that are an easy fix and i have to cut out some more of my bumper... the holes where the fog lights sat in i have to trim out some of the ledge(i guess u could call it) where the brackets screwed in. so no biggies just little shit.

car sounds mean as hell running open down pipe off the turbo :D i dont have the welding skills nor the right bends to route the downpipe back to the exhaust so ill proble take it to an exhaust shop.

will post pics asap!

Ahh that sure does bring me back...i remember my first boost...charge pipe falling off, oil leaking haha its the best way to learn!!

What have your got for fuel management? Getting it tuned soon?

And the obvious...PICS!!

#18255 for fuel management im just running a base map chipped ecu from phearable for 6psi with 450cc injectors and a 2step at 2500rpm. and im tuning with chrome. yeah im asking around for dyno tune prices but id like to get a somewhat good tune before i go in so it doesnt take them forever on the dyno and have to beat the shit outa my car for 5 hours or something

oh ok thats good...i just hate when people that dont really know what there doing try to tune them selfs...your knwo .. to look cool hahaha. i lost $50 that way. As for the dyno, i drove my car on a basemap for about a week before i got a good tune! Mind you the tuner liked me so he gave me a HELL of a deal...and it was the first D-series he had ever done.

nope i wasnt able to keep them.

i tightend the crap outta the clamps that are on there cause they werent very tight when i did em with the screw driver so i put a nut driver to em so lets hope that works. i know this is ghetto but i jb welded the oil fittings that were leaking so that should seal them right up. so tomorrow i have to trim and mount my bumper and then hope i dont blow anymore pipes off. oh and take out my a/c pump to route the downpipe the correct way. i had to heat it and beat it with a hammer to get it to where it would fit right so all i have to do is cut off kinda close to the exhaust flange of the downpipe and weld some bends up and route it towards the exhaust and then make some kinda of pipe with a flange on it to bolt it up to my existing exhaust

#18570 That beam between the i/c and headlights, is it only found on USDM Civics?
Never seen a EDM with one of those, and never seen a JDM without a bumper...

Seems to me it's in kind of a clumsy place when you want to mount a bigger i/c, it's not removable right?

But nice build man, looking good!
Just like many others here... can't wait till I'm boosting!

i was wondering why it was there but for the simple setup i have now with the intercooler the size it is it works fine. and no it doesnt seem removable at all i may be wrong though.
