- Wed Feb 11, 2009 5:06 am #95630 do you want kick all the time (also more often abuse on the motor) or do you want kick at the touch of a button, otherwise normal driving will be on a stock B series.

If done properly, I think the Nitrous setup would make a more reliable Daily driver. That's without knowing what shot, and how it is installed/tuned. Those things can make a big difference.

But if you want something that you don't see every day, a supercharged D will turn heads.

A supercharged D will be a lot of fun with the supercharger whine :twisted:

Don't use the crap FMU setup from jackson racing. Get a set of DSM 450ccs, chipped ECU and have your car tuned. Bunch of guys on d-series have ran the JRSC setup for a while now with no issues. Makes it more fun for auto-x :D

I'm also running nitrous too. but then again it's not a daily, so when it blows up it will just give me an excuse to build it.

You can get used Jackson Racing superchargers for under $1000 usually
