#5100 so its for sure im going turbo!!

Im going against what some people say and im just going to boost the d15 16v.

Going to buy a kit but i think im going to need injectors from some where (so i heard!)

And im going to buy a hondata ecu as well for some good managment!

Anyone know what injectors i need as i cant seem to find a link at all!!

This may also seem like a stupid question but im a turbo virgin! How do you adjust the boost?

#5108 you adjust boost via the actuator or a simply way of doing it is getting an in car boost controller.

if your turbo'in the d15 i would do the multi point injection swap - it will make things alot easier plus it would be alot better for boosting... if your only running low boost (6psi) then stock injectors would be fine i would have thought.

theres a website dedicated to turbo'in d-series engines - google is your friend for that one :thumb:

Depending how things pan out over the next month or so I might have a D16 block with steel rods and forged pistons, 550cc Injectors,T3 down pipe and a few other bits for sale. :D

I didn't even know they still put dual point injection motors in civics after 1991 :?

converting to MPFI is a good idea for any motor mods, but especially for going turbo :thumb:

our lsi civics (d15 moters) in the hatch have only got single point injection but the coupes and 4 doors in lsi have multi point injection.

which means the hatch have 92bhp where as the coupes have 102bhp...

tis a great little mod for all lsi hatch's but isnt really done alot over here.

#5269 Well, the car is a daily runner so im not going big!! Prob just buy a kit of ebay and be done with it?

But it is quite inviting building a turbo as you know what individual parts you will need.

Hell if the car blows up it just means that i will have to buy a new engine!!

And on saying that EGcivic might be selling me one!!! (heres hoping anyway!!)

#5272 theres a guy on csc who is prob breaking a mase tuned d16 turbo

big spec list, runs 170whp easliy and with the current set up its good for at least 230whp

is user name is kayne :thumb:

dont get no ebay wank kit - the wleds will crack on the manifold and you will end up spending more money on new parts.

#5285 yeah be careful on ebay, lots of cheap crap that is cheap for a reason. If you buy from ebay, stick with name brand, not SSautochrome or turbo XS. A great place to shop is in for sale forums on civic sites. If you find something, post it here for a second opinion. We won't let you buy garbage :D
