christ....another eg wrecked. so sorry to hear man, any idea what caused the tyre to blow?

no idea really. the tread was about shot on them to begin with and i had some camber wear on the inside so its hard to say

oo i had something similar happen to my old yoko a520's. the tread was really worn on the sides as well, and there was one part on the side of the tyre that just split (found a tear about the length of a pinkie's fingernail) while i was going up a steep ramp, good thing i wasn't on the highway.

- Wed Oct 10, 2007 3:01 am #25978 They are nice cars... you'll notice right away how refined and civilized it is compared to your EG, and K20 6 speed

But after a while I predict you'll miss the light weight, nimble, harsh ride of a slammed EG... not to mention the power to weight ratio, torque & power curve of a boosted D in an EG. So pick up that red one for $1700 as well.

When you're talking about a almost brand new RSX type S, a $1700 EG is chump change, especially when you already have all the goodies to make it eat the RSX

I'm also not going to talk bad about the RSX, as that might be a car for my wife after her EK.

no doubt i will miss the eg and i WILL have another eg in my lifetime. ive always liked the rsx's a bunch and i finally have the chance to get one so i want to take advantage of this

i feel the same way except mines isnt the rsx its the new civic si lol and i DO miss my eg...
