Quick Ebay Hub question

- Wed May 20, 2009 2:06 am #117816 Ok, i ordered a ebay hub and quick release and it installs ok, but it does not hit the mechanism to turn the turn signals off how do i get it to work correctly, i am sick of turning my signals off manually.

- Wed May 20, 2009 2:52 am #117825 There's a round plastic piece behind the wheel with a retractable thin harness coming out of it.
I can't remember exactly what to do, but that is what makes the turn signal shut off. I took my steering wheel off once and had the same problem when I put it back on. I took it back off and adjusted that plastic piece and made sure it was aligned properly and everything was normal again.

- Sat May 23, 2009 3:36 am #118376 the hub has to be all the way down, you gotta make sure that the hub is touching the plastic thing. so when you turn the wheel it turns the plstic thing and shuts off the turning signal.
