http://akronafterdark.com/
It's a listing of bars, clubs, restaurants in Akron. There's a forum too, phpbb just like this one.
- Did I miss any good places in Akron? (I'm sure I did lol)

The site is free for anyone to add their Bar, Club, Restaurant. Then there's an option for an upgraded listing.

I am already going to add a couple more icons: billiards and corntoss

/me being a total nerd looked @ the code you have a few tags towards the end of the home page that do not have any content in them. <p><br>
</p> looked like most of them where the paragraph tags

Chlamydia rates for Cincinnati area increasing dramatically
Published on Sunday Aug 26, 2007

Infection rates for chlamydia in the Cincinnati area are increasing dramatically, and the percentage of those with gonorrhea in the region is one of the highest in the nation, according to federal health figures.

Area health officials have noticed the trend and are calling for more testing and greater efforts to educate the public on how sexually transmitted diseases are spread and prevented. Ohio does not require public schools to offer sex education.

Southwest Ohio is ranked 14th in the nation for gonorrhea infections per 100,000 people, according to statistics from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Chlamydia rates rose in Hamilton County from 578.8 new cases per 100,000 people in 2004 to 724.6 new cases per 100,000 people in 2005, according to Ohio Department of Health statistics. The increase in chlamydia cases is particularly pronounced among teens and young adults, mirroring a national trend, health officials said.

Gonorrhea and chlamydia are easily treated, but untreated infections can lead to infertility.

The climb in infections worries health officials who said they fear a parallel increase in syphilis and HIV transmissions. Syphilis and HIV cases are even turning up in 14-year-olds and 15-year-olds, said Eric Washington, a Cincinnati Health Department counselor.

Chlamydia was found in about 18 percent of patients who underwent testing, according to data from Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center's teen health center and emergency department. The center said another 9 percent tested positive for gonorrhea, and 18 percent of patients were found to have trichomoniasis, another common STD.

At the Cincinnati Health Department, 29 percent of adult women who underwent testing were positive for trichomoniasis. Another 10 percent were found to have chlamydia and 9 percent tested positive for gonorrhea.

"To me, the only symptom you have to have to be tested for an STD is a history of sex," said Jill Huppert, an adolescent-medicine specialist and the medical director of the Cincinnati STD/HIV Prevention Training Center. "If you've had sex, you should be tested."
