- Sat Apr 07, 2007 2:25 am #4984 well its more of a transmission qiestion...any way i bought a ZC from a japan dealer and i got them to put an SI tranny on it , the engine i sold but kept the tranny, my question is how do i knwo if its a actual si trans?

- Sat Apr 07, 2007 2:36 am #4985 You can tell by the code of the transmission. It will say S20, but I believe that is common for most or all of the D trannys. If you look near the drain plug, there should be a circle stamp with a P20 and B000. if you have P20 and a000, then you have the long geared dx/lx tranny.
