Do you mean the bright silver part that my finger tip is on in this picture?

I'm 99% sure I put it back exactly as I took it apart. But I can see how I would have missed that. I think that if it were backwards though, the outer sleeve would have not slid down over.
Also the transmission works perfect, no more grinds and it has been 4 years. :woot:
