- Sun Feb 21, 2016 10:40 am #358507 I recently traded my 2003 Acura 3.2TL Type S for a 1993 Honda Civic DX hatchback. the Civic currently has a B18B block, with B16B pistons, Type R Headers, Magnaflow 2.5" Exhaust, a CAI I can't remember atm, and that's about it, it's non VTEC, but makes 179hp, so not bad, and is hooked up to a GSR Tranny. any advice? what VTEC head should I put on it?

If it did, you wouldn't want to do anything. B18B block and non VTEC head making 179whp NA would be a pretty serious build.

Serious correction factor. A shop here in Colorado runs a 1.23 CF lol

- Sat Feb 27, 2016 2:17 am #358558 Those are good numbers if it's really putting that down. I had a ls/vtec with gsr head and some bolt ons and made 183-186hp on the dyno. Just put a gsr head or any other vtec head and you should be good.
