#327216 Ok so I am working on finishing up my auto to manual swap. I already had a manual 92 civic hb with a d15b vtec ( the car needed a lot of work). I acquired an auto 93 civic hb. I swapped everything over to the auto the motor, tranny, engine harness. when it came down to wiring the clutch switch i followed these instructions. http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2348557 . I went to start it up today and it started but still starts up without having to press the clutch. I haven't done anything to to the wires that connect to the auto shifter. I did swap the ignition from the manual car over to the auto one since my alarm was all wired up to it. Was there something I missed? I referenced this thread for the swap http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2090074. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

#327218 You will need to run the 2 thick wires from the auto shifter plug to the clutch pedal switch if you want to make it so you must press the clutch to start the car.

Connecting those 2 thick wires means your car can start any time. Connecting them up to the switch means it will only start when the clutch pedal switch is pressed. :thumb:
