i thought it was because i lowered and didn't get strut bars/ towers. :?
cause i also have these near my coilovers under the hood.

#317147 They are stress marks. They aren't uncommon on our cars with such thin metal. If your suspension is low/stiff, that extra force is being absorbed somewhere else. I see them on the front shock towers a lot on slammed civics, especially if they were ever in an accident.
