Ok so I was just sitting here thinking and has anyone moved the ignition switch to a different part of there car so it would be out of sight so if someone stole your keys or something that they couldn't start it or even did it to be different and have something unique?

I've thought about this too. But when I actually looked into it, that thing is huge...where are you going to hide it? From there, I went into looking at RFID ignition. RFID ignition seems pretty sweet!

i thought about putting it in the coin thing infront of my drink holders and just cutting the back of it of so i can still close the compartment and then open it up and there would be my switch but i dont want to switch to a keyless ignition

i jsut watched this thing on youtube and the guy had his switched up to the lighter cuz he was having problems with the switch so he had to push the lighter in to crank his car

That would be an ok spot for a kill switch

It's quite easy to jump start a car underneath the hood. If you move the key cylinder, you've only made it easier because now they don't have to break the steering lock.

I'm not worried about anyone stealing my car I live in bfe with a bunch of rednecks that drive trucks and could care less about a car plus I stay up all night long and if something goes on out side my outside dog will alert me and I ain't afraid to put a few rounds in a man stealing anything
