#133621 dont do it.. you have no clue what your doing.... its not like going and painting a barn red... but if your looking for a fast spraycan job, then sand it down with a light sandpaper like 320 and up. sand the entire body... wash it off and air dry.. then take some wax and greas remover and wipe down your car and dont touch it... get like 10 cans of your fav black and have fun... if your going to do it the right way like a satin black, your gonna need spray gun, compressor, air filter, hose, paint, reducer, actavator, spray both etc.... but noone has the time to sit here and tell you how to paint it... so spned some money and get it painted the right way the first time... :thumb:

#133657 it all depends on how much you have to spend. PPG is good stuff if you have a grand to drop on paint. Then there's DuPont, Sherwin Williams, House of Kolor, Planet Color to name a few.... There's all kinds of brands out there. I bet a lot of them don't make a satin black though.

#133659 ya most dont make satin. also spies hecker witch is what we use at are shop. we actually use all ther water born paint.. smalls like water looks like paint.. if i were you call over to your local auto paint store and see what they can help with.. or better yet, go to a library and pick up a book on auto painting... its not a walk in ther park.. shit from tear down, to prep, to paint, to put back together your looking at about 10-15 hrs.. thats using all power tools and air tools...
