Mystery part... anyone know where this goes on a civic?

- Tue Jun 19, 2007 3:51 pm #11528 A while back when I was cleaning the floor, I found this near the front drivers corner of the car.

Right away I was like "I swear I installed the woodruff key on the crank pulley" And I looked... the woodruff key was installed, this was actually smaller, but similar shape. also this is very magnetic.

and here it is on a wheel stud, to give you an idea of how small it is.

I have no clue where it could be from, but I'm pretty sure it fell off my civic at some point.
any ideas :?

- Tue Jun 19, 2007 11:17 pm #11587 maybe the DOHC are different, but my SOHC does not have a key like the crank pulley does. It's built in to the cam gear itself, there's no separate piece.
