- Fri Sep 02, 2016 12:25 am #359664 My car won't rev pass 3.5 it backfires when when accelerating up to 3k and backfires when decelerating... I reset Ecu still the same results don't have anymore ecu's on hand. It also cranks a bit long before it starts up Can Someone Help Please!

Was any maintenance done before?

I'm right along with you. I also think it is timing.
Can you send some pictures of the timing gears on marks ?
Some pictures would help.
