#279139 Yeah.. didn't really know where to post this so i guess this will do.
I took my car to the shop to get it aligned the guy was all like i'm not gonna do an alignment on this cause your springs are shot you need upper A arms new lower balls joints a new steering rack and your shifter linkage bushings are shot.

Well I got most of it fixed but I need a new steering rack bad. But i'm having a problem. I don't have power steering but every steering rack I see is for power steering and they say they will fit 92-95 civic all models all engines. Will It still work with my car?
this is the one i'm looking at.

#280865 Anyone have tips or anything for putting the new rack on? I couldn't find a DIY. Is it hard?

#280877 Yeah it's a pain in the ass. I've never tried it with the engine in, it's gonna be a small space to work in.

I'd pick up a Helm's manual if you don't already own one. :thumb:

^^this

here's how i did mine. disconect the outter tie rods. then remove the steering column bolt(1bolt), then remove the rack n pinion bolts, then take out all the bolts on the subframe except the motor mount(this will allow you to rock the subframe back and forth enough to slide the rack out) pull it out through the drivers side.
