wideband / air fuel ratio???

wideband / air fuel ratio???

- Wed Nov 09, 2011 4:11 am #280841 ok so im looking to get some guages for my car and want a air fuel ratio...but dont understand the diff. between a regular air fuel ratio guage and a wideband air fuel ratio guage...any help would be great!! :thumb:

- Wed Nov 09, 2011 4:30 am #280844 A wide band is accurate, reading over a 5 volt range & can be used to fine tune. A regular is not accurate because it only reads over a .5 volt range (I believe that's the correct volts) and is pretty much only good for letting you know if there's a major problem like running super lean or super rich.

- Wed Nov 09, 2011 4:39 am #280845 oo ok..im gunna go with the regular one for now...i just orderd the three gauge pod pillar package off glow shift and i needed a third gauge to fill the spot...it will do for now...thanks for the info man!! :thumb: :thumb:
