#99998 for the valve cover, there is a line that runs from the nipple in the corner to a nipple on your intake, before throttle body.

Just run the catch can in line between the two. That way any blow by that gets sucked into your intake from the valve cover will hopefully be stopped at the catch can :thumb:

same deal for the crank case, just follow the line from your black box to your intake and put a catch can inline. The oem black box sort of acts like a catch can, so I would not be as worried about this one. Unless you're boosted, then that changes the whole system.

#100538 it all depends on the setup. some dohc's have 2 going to the valve cover. But the valve cover and crank case are what you want to vent. Some have drain lined to put the blowby oil back into the crank case too. Then there's the burnoli (sp) effect that uses a vac line slash cut into the exhaust, or some run a line to an air pump for a vacuum source. They can get complex, especially when you throw in a turbo setup.

i think you're talking about the bernouli effect? do they really need to be so complex and do they really help? im going to be doing a vitara z6 build not going to be making stupid power just something to have fun, would i benefit from it?

#101903 Why do you have a catch can are you making that much power that you need it...?

#101910 I think a catchcan is worth doing on anything past say 75,000 miles, regardless of horsepower.

I was wondering. Could I maybe use one of these instead of having two bungs welded into my VC? How would I plumb the catch can?

Right now it's just between the VC and the turbo inlet pipe.
