You can never trust a "chip" because you don't know what was put on it. People think you can just add a little timing, add a little fuel, burn it, and sell it on ebay. Then your car knocks and blows black smoke and you wonder why you LOST power.
I'd say that 99.99% of the calibrations put on these chips are pure crap. .01% get lucky. I've seen a lot of tuning jobs by so-called tuners. You look at the maps and you wonder what the heck the person was thinking! Were they drunk?! You can't tune an engine without having the actual car on the dyno. There is no way to guess what will make more power. You'll be surprised that leaning out fuel increases power as often as richening it up does.
If you need a P28, sell your P06 and buy a stock unmolested P28.
