#5015 Anyone know how to get the best finnish after spraying a car, Laquors the last thing we put on it but is there anything we can do once its completely dry to get a perfect shine and look ? Polishing and what not is a must i know that.

#5020 you should wet sand. depending on the amount of orange peel, start with something like 1200 grit, then 1500m and finally 2000 grit. then polish and you'll have a glass finish

#5052 Yep, you can do it with single stage, or clear coat. There is a how-to thread in the exterior section about how to paint a bumper. I used an aerosol can, did light coats, and it looked ok... then I wet sanded & polished and my cheap DIT painted bumper looked better than the paint on the rest of the car! Check it out

#8153 Yeah i did man cheers, and i have heard about putting on a couple more layers of laquer and cutting it back with really fine paper to get all the dust and dirt that may get sprayed onto it, and then after that buff and polish. Takes time but its gunna be worth it :D Can't wait till summer to get working on it :D
