My material list:
2qts of gloss red rustoleum
1qt of gloss black rustoleum
1 2" roller with extra rollers. (must be high density)
1 thingy of mineral spirits
So I saw this one thread on a Mopar forum and it looked like a stellar deal. (will post a link later) I've started the painting today on the hood, and so far so good!
10 hours have past since I started typing this post. the hood had ALOT of orange peel and there were too many lines left from the roller. soooo I went into town and gave into 10 months of temptation and bought an electric palm sander. (I had been doing it with a tiny block-bondo and all) I sanded the hood down and started all over. I'll check it out in the morning. I made the second batch of paint MUCH thinner, and rolled it on, and the bubbles in the paint popped much faster but the lines were still there.
Teal, what am i doing wrong? any tips?
