Ok so i bought This Red Coupe
There a Plastic Transperant Coating on the Hood Its just 1/4 of the hood and its supose to protect from rocks and what not.

how do i take that thing off its like glued to the hood and its damn ugly
i tried scrapping it and it might take 1 month to take off working every day on it so Screw that... Can someone please help me

#121574 moved to "exterior" since this has to do with the exterior of your civic and not the chassis :wink:
also a more specific title instead of "Help me" will usually get more attention to your thread.

It's a big clear sticker... You'll need some paint safe solvent such as Goo-Gone or maybe acetone to get it off faster.
Test the solvent on a small area first.

Also a heat gun will help soften it up.

#121632 lol ya a heat gun will be the best. the glue becomes soft agin and will peel. but you have to start in a corner and slowly work your way threw the rest. dont think it will take 5 min either. more like an hour. plus you will need an adhesive remover to clean the remaining glue. once its off you might have to polish and wax your hood. that glear nose guard reflects the sun rays, so your paint might be really shinny under the guard but is faded were the guard wasnt. :thumb:
