- Sat Feb 26, 2011 11:23 am #241049 Hello guys!im George im 20 from greece and im a proud owner of a civic eg hatch '95.i got it like 1 week ago and now im working on it...it has some tires since 2006 all messed up the tires are trash now some bridgestone 195/50R15 85V....i want ur help about what tires should i get on my new car? im really new on all this remaking a car etc so any help would be APPRECIATED...(btw help me understand what are the number on the tire & ive read the related topic but some explanation would work).Thanks in advance

- Sat Feb 26, 2011 2:12 pm #241065 195 is the width in mm, 50 is the sidewall aspect ratio, R15 is the rim diameter.

- Sat Feb 26, 2011 5:03 pm #241093 Thanks for the info! i asked at a store about a new pair of tires and he told me about michelin or bridgestone...which one u think i should pick? i think its a serious choise for car's better performance + my safety and the people's i take in my car
