Help, my valve cap hot melted on, i cant put air in them !

Help, my valve cap hot melted on, i cant put air in them !

- Thu Sep 11, 2008 2:28 am #69220 OK, so my next project EG have in line has somewhat low air in the tires, so i go to unscrew the valve cap { AFTERMARKET} and it wont turn, i took big wrench to it, and STILL wont turn, so pretty much i can't unscrew the tire valve cap, its another junk aftermarket part , and it look's as if it just melted inside it self to the valve, so what are my options ? should i just wait the month till i get new tires or have u had this problem and have a solution ? if so what ? thanks :thumb:

- Thu Sep 11, 2008 7:53 pm #69302 hair dryer or heat gun. Your valves are usualy made of metal not plastic and you can then replace the valve caps :)

- Thu Sep 11, 2008 8:55 pm #69313 Yeah, all 4 of them, and the cap is metal original was plastic i put those cool metal ones on, and now there's no way of taking them off LoL, i'm going to put new tires on in a few so ill just wait, + is not driving it everyday . But yeah i will try hair dryer or heat gun, :thumb:
