rims offset for eg

- Sat May 03, 2008 11:21 am #53635 hi guys... just wanna find out what's the most suitable rim offset for eg hatch.... some of them suggest +45 would be fine... +35 below may touch the body.... what do you think???

- Sat May 03, 2008 1:37 pm #53647 you got it right for the most part. 40-45 is safer than 35-40 but either can be done depending on rim width, tire size, ride height, and camber can even make a difference.

Post the specs of the wheels you are considering and we'll give you some advice :thumb:

- Sun May 04, 2008 11:59 am #53736 i just bought sprint hart cpf 15 pcd100 6.5jj +45 offset... condition for the rims are just acceptable due to its sticker peeling off a bit, been repaired and the colour faded.... planing to install 55 series 195.... will +45 offset a bit to inside and not suitable for an eg hatch.... thanks a lot teal...
hmmmm now i'm thinking of selling off and getting enkei rpf01... :hehe:
which one do you prefer????

Dude, neveR trade your Sprint Harts for some overplayed Enkei's.

Also........205-50-15 is the perfect tire size for those rims.

I like the CPR's better, but I'd still rock the CPF's over Enkei's any day of the week. :hehe:

enkei's? NOOOOO! you can always get RP01s anytime but CPFs let alone we are both in asia haha we get raped of the good wheels, everything get shipped everywhere but our places.

keep the CPF.

your offset is just about right man.

40-45 is a safe offset but there are some who roll lower like 38 below.

i myself am rolling on +32 cpf's but alas! no rubbing issues. :)

here's a mint set i have.
