- Sun Nov 30, 2008 5:18 pm #81080 i just got a jdm d15b vtec and everything whent smooth them i turned on the car and it idle from 1000 rpm to 2000 up and down and im running with a p28 but they told to get the po8 ecu so know im confused can anyone help me out

- Sun Nov 30, 2008 6:15 pm #81096 sounds like vac leak more than an ecu issue. Could also have an air pocket in your coolant.

- Sun Nov 30, 2008 8:08 pm #81115 I agree, I dont think its an ECU issue. Spray WD40 on all the vac hoses and listen for a change in idle. Check IACV also.

- Sun Nov 30, 2008 8:19 pm #81123 People do use that ecu for the D15bs. Its definitly time to start checking for leaks. Hoses do go bad after a while and all of a sudden.
