#66585 So i was just wondering what would be the best spot to put my map. D16z6 manifold, and an AEM 3.5 bar map.

I was thinking where the arrow is pointing, there is a flat spot and it would be protected from getting broken off. I'm just not sure if there is supposed to be a special spot for it.

#66627 aren't they usually on the throttle body? I think where you have the arrow would be fine. shouldn't get broken there.

#66633 some have them on the throttle body and some have them mounted on the firewall (my 92 dx had this). If yours already has one on the TB, why not put the new one there? The only downfall I see is you couldn't go back to stock if you're going to have to modify the hole very much.

Yes i believe they are on the throttle body, thats why i want to see if it would be a performance issue for the sensor not being on the TB.

#66654 MAP - manifold absolute pressure sensor

necessary to calculate air density and determine the engine's air mass flow rate, which in turn is used to calculate the appropriate fuel flow -wiki

#66785 id use one of the nipples that are allready there on the manifold and just use a vacuumline to hook it up. wouldnt drill in the manifold.

but you would need to blank of the place on the tb.....
