#186246 ok i relocated my battery in the trunk with i think 4 gauge sub power wire or whatever size wire is closest to the stock wire size and ever since then i've been having problems with my power seeming to cut out ive been told i need to buy bigger wire since its farther away is this true if yes then what size do i need thanks

and by power cutting out i mean that if i have my lights and stereo on and push my brakes it feels like it going to die and sometimes does.

i've checked the alternator and its good so this is all i can think of

#186251 i don't see a few extra feet of wire causing a loss of power...

your definitely sure the alternator is running strong?

#186253 yeah you should have used thicker wire.

Look at some battery relocation kits, they all use thicker wire

instead of a couple feet away, it's now about 10 feet of wire.

Be sure your connections & solders are good too :thumb:

#186254 positive the car is having no issues starting or running until i have a few things running at once with no headlights or stereo the car will run perfect but as soon as i turn stuff on the power just keeps getting lower but the battery is staying charged so alternator is good
