#132823 hey guys, so i have this wiring issue with the fuel pump not priming/getting ANY voltage during the prime/start sequence. so needless to say the car won't start. i went to NAPA and got a new relay plus soldered my old one and it works.

i have no continuity between post #7 on the main relay and the fuel pump power wire. how is this harness of wires ran (mainly the yellow w/ green stripe wire) down the chassis to the pump? and WTF is with it, just outta nowhere..... any help would be good or i'm just gonna run my own, any other idea besides find the short? :?

#132875 it runs along the bottom of the drivers door jamb, on the inside in a plastic channel. Then curs over where the rear seat begins.
There's also a fuel pump ground that comes out next to the driver's seat.

#132883 thanks teal i think i found the problem tonight though, there is a *giant harness plug right behind the cruise control module box that has the fuel pump power wire going into and out of. so i checked the continuity of the plug on the reverse side with the pump and it was good, not so good along the whole line which explains the no power situation.

so in my case i have an electrical gremlin and i ran a jumper wire from the main relay harness to that plug on the good side so i'm pretty sure that will last a while and won't matter if the original wiring magically starts working again in the process.

thanks again...i took this time to install my walbro 255lph :thumb:
