Post YOUR Sedan here

#344024 On a side note. I had the car not start while I was about leave Import Alliance. Had to push start it to get it to crank.

Installed a new starter and it still didn't start. Turned out to be the where the pedal makes contact with the clutch pedal position switch. The plastic piece fell out. Damn O-Reliey's wouldn't let me return the starter. So I am out $66. Gotta love it! lol I would do a DIY on the eg starter but I was so annoyed that night before my trip to Universal Studios that I totally forgot!

Whaaaat no way bro....I would've been so pissed at O-Reiley's! Sell it on Craigslist you know someone will scoop that right up

What made you look for the clutch pedal position switch? I would've been out there for hours lol especially since you can rule out so much already from the work you know is good..

my girlfriend will be coming with me, but we'll probably take just the sedan since it's got A/C and a stereo. The hatch is no where near ready for a long road trip. Here to Sparta, KY is around a 13 hour drive for me.

#344052 Nice I couldn't pass up the ac and music either, I just checked it looks like about a 10 hour drive for me, unless I budget for some speeding tickets

#344107 aight guys, sounds good! Its about 9 hours away from me. It def would be fun.

Ocho, I ruled everything out and I ended up pressing the clutch pedal position switch with my finger and the car started right up. I was like wtf. lol
I ended up using some strong ass 3m tape and cut some hard plastic from a home depot phone jack outlet trim and placed it over the hole where the plastic piece fell out of where the clutch pedal position switch makes contact with the pedal when pressed down.

O-reiley's gave me a $38 core charge for it. So I just ended up returning the old starter.

#344197 haha, yeah man. I just order some Amsoil MTF. Its due for a tranny fluid change. Its been almost 2 years. I used Amsoil MTF in my other honda/acura cars before and it works really well and 0 grinds always.

I will report after I change it out.
