#328276 Now its time to hand engrave the rear tow hook. Roughly 40+ hand engraving hours went into this piece (both sides total).

#328277 Time to work on the front tow hook. This piece took about the same time to hand engrave as the rear tow hook did. 40+ engraving hours.

Thank you so much. Most of the "Engraved EG" is free hand. For some of the "picture perfect" logos on the car I had to make templates for. Even the templates I had to make by hand, then hand engrave them after that. So technically even the logos are hand done. :)

Thank you. :) It took a lot of time to come up with the "Engraved EG" concept. Lots of planning. There is ZERO room for error with hand engraving. :)

#328289 The Dry Carbon Fiber Fuel Pump Cover is the next part to be engraved and was a challenge. Very thin material and easy to cut all the way through. Hand engraved the carbon fuel pump cover is just the first step for this piece. Eventually I'm going to give it a wet sand and clear coat to protect the hand engravings as well as giving the engravings a more clean and subtle look.

#328295 Then I worked on the Dry Carbon Fiber PowerChamber Itake. This took me roughly 140+ hand engraving hours to fully engrave all the way around. This is just the first step for the carbon intake. Later on Im going to give it a wet sand and clear coat to give the intake a clean and subtle look.

Hello JohnRM, I live in Los Angeles. This car is kinda on lock down right now. lol. A bunch of parts are off cause Im engraving them at them currently. The "Engraved EG" will be doing A LOT of traveling to car shows, track days, drag races, and so on when the car is complete.

"Like" the "Engraved EG" facebook fan page and I'll keep you updated there.

I'll be posting which shows the car will be attending on the Engraved EG Twitter as well. It will also be at SEMA 2013 and most likely a bunch of other Southern California shows before that.
