- Tue Jun 28, 2011 8:10 am #261349 Not yet. I have to get a tire approval from the tire manufacturers that allowes me to put some specivic tire size on the rimms.

Fucking laws here in germany :roll:

i'd like to put a 175/50-16 tire on the steelies but the only manufacturer here is Vredestein that has the right load specs speed index 81H the other one is Yokohama but only goes till 77T ... and the other problem is that Vredestein claims that the 175/50 tire can only be mounted to a max 6''wide rim. If you go wider on the rim there will be to mutch stress to the tire flank and he gives you no garantie for any damage.

on the 8,5'' wide rime i'd like to use a 205/45-16 tire and they are only allowed to be mounted on a 7,5''wide rim ..... i hate german laws!


So i have a lot of stress to get them legal on my ride ...

1. you need 2 (one for right window one for left window) rockerswitches with 6 conection finns on the back that jumps back to zero when you don't have your finger on it :wink:

It sucks that german laws are so restrictive, However it totally makes since to keep people safe.

I always love to see what you do with your car. Everything is always very well done and thought out.
