#191111 the ctr pistons will put your compression up there pretty good, a poor mans R will run great, i love mine and its still all stock gsr stuff in the bottom end... before you buy pistons you just need to figure out exactly what you want to do and what your goals are, you cant blindly buy parts for a build your not 100% sure on your goal :thumb:

#191487 yea thats true i think i would wanna either go completely stock or a stock bottom end wit a built head

#191577 i would recomend either the jdm or usdm itr pistons then.... :thumb: they wont give you too much compression...

#191746 yes sir, mine is a bone stock usdm gsr bottom end 95 spec, with a 2000 si head, mild port job, i had the valves re-surfaced, i used the gsr cams, and arp head studs, and everything else is stock, intake manifold, throttle body, injectors, everythings stock... when i had that engine in the car i have the turbo on now, i had that enigne, with a dc ITR replica header ande a stg 2 clutch and a gsr trans, it ran very good and pulled very hard, i out ran a dyno tuned z6 on like 9psi, i also had my chipped p28 behind it then,

now i have it in my dd with a stock clutch, LS grears and a gsr ecu and a 4to2to1 header.... but it still runs great...

#191942 a friend of mine has a turbo poormans r in his crx, and it runs really good, i never turbo'd mine tho, i decided to turbo a b16 instea lol... my poormans is getting miles on it now, so id like to freshin it up an maybe do a high compression kit... but all in all a poormans r is a solid setup imo
