- Sat Jul 04, 2009 4:47 pm #128293 I just bought a 94 EG6 and am trying to find out in your opinions what would be the best type of engine swap to do and what would be the full list of parts I would need to go along with that swap. Currently I have a stock engine and tranny everything is stock so im starting out fresh.

- Sat Jul 04, 2009 7:06 pm #128315 the best swap for a car is mainly on what you are going to use it for alot of people choose the H22 for drag racing but not for autocross events probaly due to its weight.

Possibly the best swap out there is a B series swap since its relatively easy to obtain one however the new swap out there the K series motor seems to be a good option as well tho it is expensive....but im more of a fan with the d series motor but if i had to choose id probaly grab a K series because i like 6spds lol and it has i think 200 or so hp stock.....but anyhow thats if i had the money

Your best bet is to possibly get a B18C dohc vtec motor and lsd trans its pretty much a straight forward swap and parts differ depending on what version you purchase normally you can get a full swap from hmotorsonline.com or passwordjdm.com
