#110276 So, i ordered a b16a3 and i dont think it comes with motor mounts. I keep seeing motor mount kits with either a 2 hole or 3 hole driver side mount. So i search and cant find whether i need the 2 hole or 3 hole mount.
I dont want to order the wrong one, get the motor, and be super pissed cause i cant get it in over the weekend.

Can you help me out Civic-EG? :thumb:

The part circled in red is bolted to the BLOCK directly. It will either have 2 studs in it and a threaded hole. Or it will ONLY have 2 studs coming from it. The one shown above is from a del sol b16a3. It only has 2 studs as you can see. Here is an example of a 3 bolt. You'll see how one is actually a bolt that screws into the block mount(see above picture with red circle).

#110330 If i were to order the three bolt design and the motor had two, would i be ok to use the mount off my da integra with a gsr swap. that one is a two bolt. and if it didnt fit, could i use the bracket and the mount off the gsr?

Thank you. And no, you will not be able to use the one from your DA. The mounts themselves are different sizes. I would just wait till you get the motor. Then go to your closest parts store and get the one you need. They usually keep them in stock and ready to go... Just another option.

#110416 Did some checking around. And i'm almost certain, it's gonna be a 2 bolt design. Also, are you sure it's a B16a3... those are USDM motors. I may very well be wrong, but I'm thinking the a3 is USDM only...

#110424 If you order the wrong mount kit, you can still change out the part on the block for the one that will bolt to the kit you got. its rather simple. 3 bolts on the block and BOOM.

I called them to ask what design was on the block bracket and they said i didnt need any mounts, and it would hook up to all stock civic mounts....
I heard that they didnt, so i asked him again, and he said they would work.

And this mount looks just like the d16z6 mount....
Edit: no it doesn't.

now that i think about it, they never said if it was an a3 or not.

I cant really wait on the engine to get here to get the mounts because its my only ride and the parentals aren't too happy with driving me everyday. so i need it in by this weekend. Thanks for all the help so far, dudes.

what engine would i get the bracket from for the three hole design mount?
