#213471 I saw on a car show a BMW had that clutch problem and it was the clutch slave cylinder was busted and not holding pressure so it was causing the biting point to be near the floor. As for your idling problem my 95 EX Sedan does the same thing. When I first turn the car on it shoots up to 2000 rpms and goes done after about 10 minutes once the car warms up. I just don't worry about it lol

#213489 could be several things im thinkin its your throttle position sensor bud or your idle air control valve it could also be a vacuem leak

I called a performance shop n he says it is a vacuum leak.

#213502 Definitely a vacuum leak.

Take a can of WD-40 or brake cleaner or something extremely fucking flammable and start spraying it on the mating surfaces of the throttle body to intake manifold, intake manifold to head, and where anything attaches to the intake manifold.

When the engine bogs down, you've found your vacuum leak.

#213503 i dont doubt at all its a vacuum leak but i have seen the that plastic cap come loose on the iac and it could cause it it has happened to me but the most common reason for this is a vacuum leak

#213509 The plastic cap falling off would also be a vacuum leak. But you're right, it's a valid suggestion to check anything and everything on the suction side of the engine.

#213537 ahh good to know. ive got a problem like that. i start my car and rpms go kinda high, and slowly come down, but then starts revving by itself for a few mins, then stops and idles fine

#213993 The PVC valve stays open so long as there's negative pressure in the intake manifold. Unless the engine is boosted, there is always negative pressure in the intake manifold.
